JOB SUMMARYExecute assigned engineering tasks to support the daily operation and continuous improvement of the Syringe Filling, Tray Loading, Sterilization, and other assigned equipment or processes.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIESProvide hands on mechanical support for the Syringe Filling, Tray Loading, Sterilization, and other assigned equipment as needed by Production.
Issue and execute IQ, OQ and PQ validations for new equipment or improvements or modification of current equipment.
Lead and manage various capital equipment projects from contract drafting stages to production implementation while working with multiple cross-functional groups and other technical disciplines.
Issue new or revise current Manufacturing or Engineering procedures as needed.
Complete engineering tasks on assigned projects through hands on implementation of improvements or modifications of the Syringe Filling, Tray Loading, Sterilization, and other assigned equipment.
Learn and become a subject matter expert associated with technical content, processes, and procedures.
Apply functional knowledge to the design and implementation of manufacturing equipment when bringing tooling to production.
Identifies, proposes and implements enhancements to existing pieces of equipment throughout the operation to improve equipment performance.
Complete engineering tasks on projects as assigned.
Responsible for aiding in meeting daily/weekly/monthly production requirements in accordance with company goals, forecasts and objectives.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTSEducationBachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
Work ExperienceAt least 4 years engineering experience.
Knowledge / Skills / AbilitiesTechnical writing, research paper writing, and/or experimental design experience.
Spanish speaking a plus but not necessary.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Skills associated with equipment maintenance such as basic electrical and mechanical knowledge, measurements and tolerances, gear ratios, etc.
The job requires the ability to make important decisions, often quickly.
The ability to multi-task is essential.
Logical decision-making and long-term planning are required.
Position requires incumbent to be a team player.
Technically inclined.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to multitask.
Interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in AutoCad and SolidWorks, CATIA, ProE/Creo are a plus.
Computer literate and proficient in:
Microsoft Office - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and MS Project.
Experience with ERP systems is a plus.
Salary:
$22 per hour.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
