Job opening available for a motivated, dynamic and energetic Director of Communications and Member Services in non-profit trade association located in central New Jersey. The Director of Communications and Member Services is responsible for all aspects of communications and member services, including management of exclusive membership (Master Sponsor) program, website maintenance and social media outreach, external publications (newsletters, e-magazine, e-mails, and mailings), and public relations. Responsibilities also include the coordination of educational programs and overall support for events at annual trade show. Candidate must have strong organizational, communication and writing skills, in addition to proficiency in current version of Microsoft Office Suite as well as popular online e-mail marketing applications. The ideal candidate would be professional, self-motivated, adaptable, able to prioritize multiple tasks, efficient and personable.
Position Requirements:
Bachelors degree or equivalent
5-10 years related experience
Mastery of all relevant software/design applications.
Experience in supporting the board of directors and public policy advocacy
Proficiency in relationship building, member services, and organizational leadership
Demonstrated communication skills including the ability to interface with a variety of business leaders, community organizations, government agencies, media outlets, boards of directors, volunteers, as well as provide information to the community at large

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
