Responsibilities
Interventional high volume department seeking a cardiac cath lab tech with primary responsibilites to the Neuro service line and then the cath lab.
Responsibilites include:
Scrub assist with Neurosurgeons in complex neurovascular procedures.
Scrub assist in interventional and diagnostic cardiac cath procedures.
Preparing room and supplies for neuro, interventional and cardiac cath procedures.
Hemodynamic monitoring in the GE Mac for interventional and cardiac cath lab procedures.
Participate and rotate in Neuro on call for emergency procedures, must adhere to a 30 minute response time once called in.
Qualifications
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technologist program.
NJDEP License and ARRT is required.
3 5 years experience in a hospital interventional department is required.
Experience in Neuro interventional procedures preferred.
BLS certification required.
ACLS certification required.
